Nic Knippers has extensive experience in managerial and operational roles within the tyre and manufacturing industries. Currently serving as the Manager of Purchasing for Europe Non-RM at Apollo Tyres Ltd since July 2019, Nic also holds the position of General Manager at Vredestein Consulting BV and has contributed as a Project Manager there since September 2008. Previous roles include Interim Manager at Re-Tyre, where successful company sale and employment security were established, Plant/Operations Manager at Amtel-Vredestein in Russia, and Production Manager at Vredestein Banden BV. Early in the career, Nic was the Plant Manager for Carbo Nederland BV. Nic holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering - Process Technology from Saxion University of Applied Sciences and completed the Laureate Leadership Development Program in 2010-2011.
