Geert Caenen serves as the Chief Operating Officer at APIXA, a company specializing in complex computer vision challenges, since January 2008. Prior to this role, Geert Caenen was the Software Manager at XENOMATIX from May 2014 to January 2022, focusing on the design and implementation of the XenoWare software suite. Geert Caenen's earlier experience includes positions as a researcher and developer at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven from October 1999 to December 2007, where involvement included regional, national, and European R&D projects in areas such as texture analysis and object recognition, and at IncGEO from September 2004 to August 2006, contributing to image co-registration and change detection.
