Nicos Maglaveras is a Co-Founder at HiSpin since April 2022, contributing extensive experience in the field of biomedical informatics. As a Professor at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki since April 1990, Nicos serves as the Director of the Laboratory of Computing & Medical Informatics and leads various academic programs, while simultaneously coordinating significant research projects related to health informatics. Nicos also holds the position of Researcher and Coordinator of Informatics in Big Biodata at CERTH since August 2007, focusing on the integration of telematics and informatics technologies in healthcare. Additionally, Nicos has been a Visiting Professor at Northwestern University since September 2016, engaging in teaching and research in biomedical engineering and analytics. Nicos completed a PhD and MSc in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science at Northwestern University and holds a Diploma in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
