Michael Georgiadis currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Energy Systems Section at Processes MDPI since June 2023. Additionally, Michael holds the position of Rapporteur at CINEA, engaging in the preparation and discussion of consensus reports. As an academic, Michael is a Professor of Process Systems Engineering at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and has been involved in various research roles, including as an Associate Editor for ChERD and a Distinguished Visiting Professor at Tsinghua University. Michael's extensive experience also includes heading the Process Systems Engineering Laboratory at Aristotle University and contributing as an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at Imperial College London. Michael earned a PhD and an MSc with distinction from Imperial College London, preceded by a Diploma in Chemical Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
