Rachel Shepherd has over a decade of experience in various roles related to communications and informatics. Currently serving as a Specialist in Informatics at the Association of Public Health Laboratories since February 2016, Rachel previously worked as a Communications Assistant for the Hispanic National Bar Association from September 2014 to February 2016 and as a Youth & Media Program Manager at Steeltown Entertainment Project from September 2010 to August 2014. Rachel's early career includes serving as a Festival Administrator for Silk Screen: Asian Arts & Culture Organization from February 2007 to July 2009. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies and English Writing from the University of Pittsburgh, earned between 2004 and 2008.
