Makarand Deo has extensive experience in the technology industry, with a focus on strategic planning, project management, and team leadership. Makarand currently holds the position of Principal Client Partner at Apexon since 2023. Previously, from 2022 to 2023, they worked as the Director of Technology Solutions at EPAM Systems.

Makarand has a long history with Tech Mahindra, where they held various roles including Customer Delivery Manager from 2018 to 2022, Program Manager from 2017 to 2018 and from 2015 to 2017, and Associate Program Manager from 2014 to 2015.

Makarand began their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Satyam Computer Services Limited from 2000 to 2004.

Makarand Deo completed their Executive Business Management Program from the International Management Institute - IMI between 2015 and 2016. Prior to that, they graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer from M.P.C.T. Gwalior, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Their high school education was completed at K.C.H.S.S, Gwalior from 1988 to 1995, where they focused on the field of Science.
In addition to their formal education, Makarand Deo has obtained several certifications. These include Cloud Digital Leader from Google in December 2022, FinOps Essentials for Cloud Deployments from LinkedIn in November 2022, Writing with flair from Udemy in April 2020, and SAFe 4.0 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in January 2017.
