Arefin Bari is a seasoned Senior Mechanical Engineer at Apex Machine Company since November 2014, with notable experience as a Lead Engineering Mentor for Team 108 at FIRST since 2006. Prior to joining Apex, Arefin worked as a Mechanical Engineer/Project Specialist at EDF, Inc., where responsibilities included the design of Gas Turbine Engine test facility equipment and components. Arefin also has experience in academia, serving as an Adjunct Instructor at Palm Beach State College from June 2010 to May 2014 and as an Instructor at Al Azhar School from August 2011 to July 2013. Earlier roles included graphic design and production at Lacrossewear Inc. and design positions at EDF Inc., starting as an intern. Arefin earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Florida Atlantic University, following a diploma in Emerging Computer Technology with an emphasis on Robotics from Dillard High School.
