Tom Schimoler is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in machine learning and data analysis. Currently serving as Principal Machine Learning Scientist Lead at Apex Clearing Corporation since April 2021, Tom has previously held roles including Senior Data Scientist at Expedia Group and Machine Learning Engineer II at Orbitz Worldwide, where contributions focused on hotel experimentation and algorithmic strategies. Tom's early career includes experience as a Data Science Consultant and as an instructor and research fellow at DePaul University. An academic background includes a Master’s degree in Computer Science from DePaul University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Dominican University, complemented by earlier work as an Information Systems Analyst at Corus Bank.
