Carol Guy-Stapleton is a seasoned sustainability professional currently serving as the Sustainability Lead at Apex Clean Energy since January 2020, where efforts focus on accelerating the transition to clean energy. In addition to this role, Carol has been a Board Member at Real & Renewable since May 2014 and previously founded Khamai from August 2019 to January 2020. Earlier experience includes a managerial position at Hitachi Consulting, focusing on energy and environmental efficiency from June 2008 to November 2017, and a fellowship at Duke University's Corporate Sustainability Initiative in late 2007. Carol's career began as Field Director at the Jumby Bay Hawksbill Project from June 2004 to December 2005. Academic qualifications include a Master of Environmental Management in Environmental Economics and Policy from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science in Forest Resources from The University of Georgia.
