Marcos Lopes is an experienced executive in the industrial sector, currently serving as Deputy Site Director and COO at Aperam Gueugnon since March 2008. With a strong background in engineering and management, Lopes has held various leadership positions, including CTO for Aperam's South America division, where responsibilities included industrial strategy and digital innovation. As Program Director, Lopes led a transformative program focused on technology and product development. Additionally, Lopes managed Recyco, a unit specializing in raw materials for the stainless steel industry, driving strategic diversification and enhanced market performance. Prior to Aperam, Lopes worked at Clariant developing chemical additives for mining and participated in the ArcelorMittal Global Engineer Program. Lopes holds an engineering degree from UFSCar and completed an Executive Program at HEC Paris.
