Michael Carajohn currently serves as a Principal at Apax in the Tech & Telco Team, a position held since June 2021. Previously, Michael was a Senior Associate at The Carlyle Group from July 2015 to June 2021 and worked as an Investment Banking Analyst in Barclays Investment Bank's Global Technology, Media, and Telecom Group from June 2013 to June 2015. Notable transaction experience includes the $67 billion acquisition of Comcast/Time Warner Cable and the acquisition of 51% of outstanding shares of Scripps Networks Interactive by TVN. Michael has also held roles at Solve Media, Inc., Barclays Capital, and Merrill Lynch, along with experience as a Research Assistant for the Wharton Sports Business Initiative and as a Basketball Operations Intern with the New Jersey Nets. Academic credentials include a degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
