Farooq Akbar is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project management and consulting. Currently serving as Partner and Global Head of Delegated (OCIO) Applications at Aon Corporation, Farooq has been with Aon since June 2018. Prior to this role, Farooq held a Director position at Capgemini, where overseeing a $30M E-commerce PMO and managing a global consulting team were key responsibilities. Previous experience includes roles as Senior Project Manager at EKI and TIAA CREF, and Independent Consultant at Northern Trust, where significant projects and revenue milestones were achieved. Farooq began the career as a Programmer/Analyst at CNA Insurance and later worked as a Senior Consultant at Cap Gemini. Educational credentials include an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and two degrees in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University.
