Kris Herbison is a seasoned finance professional and martial arts leader with extensive experience in commercial finance and governance. Currently serving as the Commercial Finance Manager at ANZCO Foods since November 2022, Kris previously held senior roles at Synlait Milk Limited, Solid Energy New Zealand Ltd, Ernst & Young, and KPMG New Zealand, specializing in financial planning, budget management, and financial reporting. As a Senior Instructor (VI Dan) at the International Taekwon-Do Federation since January 2000, Kris has also played a significant leadership role within the International Taekwon-Do Riccarton Inc, successfully rebuilding the club post-earthquakes and expanding its membership. Additionally, Kris's governance experience includes serving as Board Member and Interim CEO of International Taekwon-Do New Zealand, where achievements included restructuring the organization and managing relationships with Sport New Zealand. With a strong educational background in accounting and chemistry from the University of Otago, Kris combines finance expertise with leadership skills honed in the Royal New Zealand Navy.
