Robotics Field Engineer at ANYbotics

Yoann Lapijover has a diverse work experience in the fields of robotics, drone engineering, electronics, and web development.

Their most recent position was as a Robotics Field Engineer at ANYbotics, starting in February 2022.

Prior to this, they worked as a Drone Engineer at WeRobotics from March 2021 to November 2021, where they were involved in the development and production of a cargo drone system for remote areas. Yoann was responsible for designing the system architecture, developing custom PCBs, programming the embedded system, and conducting field tests and training in Nepal and the Dominican Republic.

Before that, Yoann was an Engineering intern at Almatech SA from September 2020 to February 2021.

From March 2018 to January 2020, they worked as a Drone Engineer at WeRobotics, focusing on the development and production of a cargo drone system for remote places. Their responsibilities included designing the system architecture, developing custom PCBs, programming the embedded system, and conducting field tests and training in Nepal and the Dominican Republic.

Prior to their work in drones, Yoann worked as an Electronic Technician at the French Polar Institute (IPEV) from September 2016 to February 2017. During their 14-month wintering on an isolated French scientific base, they were responsible for the maintenance, installation, and repair of scientific instruments. Yoann also provided support to biologists in their fieldwork.

Yoann has also gained experience as a Web Developer at Caveau Luins-Vinzel from March 2015 to September 2016.

During their time at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne), Yoann held multiple positions as a Student Assistant. Yoann was involved in teaching microcontroller programming in assembler language, systems logic, and an internet course for girls ages 8 to 12, where they guided them in creating websites and raised awareness about internet hazards and copyright laws.

Additionally, they were a Research and Development Intern at senseFly from August 2015 to December 2015.

Yoann's work experience reflects their expertise and involvement in robotics, drone engineering, electronics, and web development.

Yoann Lapijover pursued their education in a chronological manner. Yoann began their academic journey in 2009 at Lycée Livet Nantes, where they completed their Baccalauréat SSI in Sciences de l'ingénieur in 2012. Following this, from 2012 to 2016, Yoann enrolled at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne), where they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Microengineering. In 2018, they continued their educational pursuits at EPFL, this time in the field of Robotic, and successfully completed a Master's degree in 2021. Throughout their educational history, Yoann's focus has shifted from Microengineering to Robotics, demonstrating a progressive specialization within their field of study.
