Geoff Lau is an experienced finance and business development professional with a diverse background in corporate strategy and clean energy initiatives. Currently serving as the Head of Finance and Business Development at Anvil Capture Systems since 2024, Geoff previously held the position of Principal Advisor for Corporate Development and Strategy at Sempra, focusing on clean energy opportunities, joint ventures, and capital allocation. As a founding member and Manager of Strategy at Humble Midstream LLC, Geoff contributed to the company's vision of delivering sustainable low-carbon solutions. With prior experience at Oxy in various strategic roles, including Business Advisor for Strategic Planning and Corporate Development Lead, and as a Senior Associate at ConocoPhillips, Geoff brings a robust skill set in M&A, financial modeling, and investment appraisal. Geoff holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the Texas McCombs School of Business and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
