Clare de Castella is an experienced professional in environmental sustainability and management, currently serving as the Associate Director of Environmental Sustainability at The Australian National University since May 2023. Previously, Clare held the position of Institute Manager at the ANU Institute for Climate, Energy & Disaster Solutions from January 2021 to June 2023, and served in various capacities at The Australian National University, including Business Manager and Communications Manager at the ANU Climate Change Institute between May 2015 and December 2019. Clare's experience also includes a role as General Manager of Marketing at Yingli Green Energy Australia Pty Ltd, and as a Sustainability Consultant at Think Brick Australia. Earlier positions include General Manager of Marketing at Peppers Retreats, Resorts & Hotels, and Senior Strategic Planner at The Campaign Palace. Clare possesses a Master of Environmental Management from UNSW and an MA Hons in History from the University of Cambridge.
