Luisa Leon Diaz is a skilled geologist with extensive experience in exploration and project geology. Currently serving as a Geologist in Exploration at Antioquia Gold LTD since April 2021, Luisa focuses on geological logging of diamond drilling samples for underground mining and surface exploration campaigns for gold. Prior experience includes a role as Project Geologist at Integral Ingenieros Consultores, where contributions involved exploratory well descriptions and stratigraphic columns for dike design. Luisa has also worked at Maktub OG S.A.S, engaged in copper exploration projects, seismic interventions for nickel, and project bidding for INVIAS. Earlier career experience was gained as a Geological Engineer at South32, where work included resource valuation reports for concession contracts and exploration of nickel laterites. Luisa holds a degree in Geological Engineering with a specialization in mineral economics from Fundación Universitaria del Area Andina, completed in 2017.
