Sasha K. is a skilled software engineer with a robust background in systems software and performance optimization. Currently a Member of Technical Staff at Anthropic since September 2024, Sasha previously worked at Neon, where responsibilities included developing eBPF-based network monitoring and enhancing Logical Replication for cloud environments. Prior experiences include significant contributions to the Apache Arrow project at Voltron Data and performance improvements in SingleStore's Columnar Execution Engine. Sasha has also engaged in research at the University of Washington focused on deep learning kernels and has completed internships at notable organizations such as Facebook and Microsoft. Sasha holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Computational and Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Washington.
