Evan Hubinger is a member of the technical staff at Anthropic, with previous experience as a research fellow at the Machine Intelligence Research Institute and as an intern at OpenAI. Additionally, Evan contributed to HRL Laboratories, LLC as a team member in the HMC Clinic. At Harvey Mudd College, Evan was a lab member in the Music Information Retrieval Lab and worked as a computer science grader and tutor. Evan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Harvey Mudd College, earned between 2015 and 2019, and attended The College Preparatory School from 2011 to 2015.
