Dustin L. currently serves as a Member of Technical Staff and Director of the Bubble Tea Center of Excellence at Anthropic since 2022, focusing on AI safety. In parallel, Dustin has been the Special Programs Director for the Information Technology Disaster Resource Center (ITDRC) since 2016, leading the projectConnect initiative to enhance digital access during the COVID-19 pandemic, alongside managing disaster operations as Region 9 Director. Previous experience includes serving as a Telecommunications Specialist with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services from 2019 to 2023, coordinating emergency communications as a Tactical Operations Coordinator at Cisco from 2017 to 2020, and working as an Emergency Telecommunications Cluster Deployment Specialist with the United Nations from 2013 to 2015. Dustin's educational background includes studies in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at UC Berkeley and additional education at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
