Barbara Giacomoni is an experienced finance and investment professional with a robust background in various roles across several organizations. Currently serving as an Independent Director and President of the Remuneration Committee at Gruppo Gpi, Barbara also holds the position of President of the ESG Committee and Board Member at Anthilia SGR. Previous experience includes a significant role in Business Development and CRM for Institutional Clients at Pictet Asset Management and positions as a Derivatives Specialist and Analyst at Studio Dattilo and SWG S.p.A., respectively. Barbara's formative years in finance were spent at Banca Akros as Head of the Credit Office and FX Trader. Educational qualifications include a CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing, a Diploma in Antique Studies and Interior Architecture from Accademia delle Arti Applicate, a Degree in Economics and Commerce from Università degli Studi di Bergamo, and post-degree education in Finance from Harvard University.
