Maria del Pilar Desangles is a Principal Consultant at Anthesis Group since April 2023, with prior experience as a Board Member at ESG & CSR Board from June 2022 to April 2023. Maria served as the Global Corporate Responsibility Communications Manager at Boston Scientific from November 2020 to April 2023 and held the position of AVP, Community Relations Manager at Bank of America from May 2018 to November 2020. At Loyola University Maryland, Maria progressed through several roles in the Center for Community Service + Justice from July 2013 to May 2018, including Associate Director and Assistant Director positions. Earlier in career, Maria was the Service-Learning Director at Hope CommUnity Center from August 2009 to June 2013, also participating as a Notre Dame Mission Volunteers AmeriCorps member. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Education with a focus on Community and Social Change from the University of Miami and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Central Florida.
