Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions for educational technologies. At SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has contributed to the design and development of hardware and firmware for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Previous roles include electronics contractor for Science Alberta Foundation, where responsibilities involved designing and repairing educational devices, and electronics engineer at Grindcom, focusing on control systems for the forestry industry. Chris also served as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, assisting in lab instruction and exam oversight. Chris holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
