Jagath Jayathilaka is an experienced engineering manager with a strong background in manufacturing and maintenance across various organizations. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Ansell since October 2020, Jagath focuses on creating strategies to enhance the reliability of manufacturing lines and optimizing expenses to meet business targets. Previous roles include Head of Group Maintenance and Projects at FCI Group, where responsibility included establishing new manufacturing facilities while ensuring compliance with international safety regulations. Jagath also held the position of Head of Engineering Operations and Projects at Regency Garments Limited, overseeing engineering and facility maintenance across multiple factories. Earlier experience includes roles as a Maintenance Engineer at Ansell and Brandix, and Maintenance Manager at Hirdaramani Group. Jagath holds an MBA from the University of Bedfordshire and a BSc in Production Engineering from the University of Peradeniya.
