Karolin Troubetzkoy has a diverse work experience spanning across various organizations and roles. Karolin is currently the Chairwoman of the Saint Lucia National Conservation Fund and the Chairperson of the Caribbean Biodiversity Fund. Karolin has also served as a Board Member of the GLOBAL ISLAND PARTNERSHIP (GLISPA) and as an Envoy for the Caribbean Challenge Initiative. In addition, they have held leadership positions such as the Chairwoman of the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association Education Foundation, President of the Saint Lucia Hospitality and Tourism Association (SLHTA), and Co-Chair of the Caribbean Alliance of Sustainable Tourism. Earlier in their career, Karolin served as an Honorary Consul for the Federal Republic of Germany in Saint Lucia. Karolin also has significant experience in the tourism industry, having been the Executive Director of Marketing and Operations/Owner of ANSE CHASTANET & JADE MOUNTAIN. Karolin's work demonstrates a strong commitment to conservation, tourism, and advocacy in the Caribbean region.
Karolin Troubetzkoy began their education in 1979 at Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences, where they studied Hospitality Administration/Management and Tourism Marketing. Karolin attended this institution until 1984. During this same period, they also pursued their studies at an undisclosed university and obtained a Dipl Betriebswirt degree in Business.
