Margarita Khariton is a Senior Engineer in Systems Integration at Ansa Biotechnologies, Inc., with prior roles as Engineer II and Scientist I in the same field. Khariton's academic background includes a PhD in Bioengineering from Stanford University, where the dissertation focused on soft matter approaches to understanding cell type diversity. Khariton developed a single-cell screening platform and optimized sequencing pipelines, while also investigating neural architecture using a flatworm model and contributing to various research projects involving neural progenitor cells and cognitive attention processing. Additional research experience includes developing MRI protocols for brain stem disorders and creating tissue engineering scaffolds. Khariton also has a Master of Science in Bioengineering and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering.
