Sophie Germann serves as the operational manager for Biodiversity monitoring and research at ANR (Agence nationale de la recherche) since November 2013, focusing on the Biodiversa+ partnership under Horizon Europe. Prior to this role, Sophie Germann worked at INSERM as an international project manager from 2008 to 2013 and as a scientific researcher, completing a four-year research contract in the team of Dr. Didier AUBOEUF, leading multiple projects in molecular biology, cellular biology, and genomics. A collaborative project at IMPPC in 2012 involved developing experimental techniques related to high-throughput sequencing. Sophie Germann earned a doctorate in molecular, cellular, and genomic biology from INRA, with earlier degrees in various biological disciplines from prestigious institutions including Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III and Imperial College London.
