Dr. Sameer Sonkusale is the Principal Investigator of the microneedle technology and a Professor of Electrical Engineering at Tufts University. Prior to his time at Tufts, he graduated with his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pensylvania. Dr. Sonkusale is a respected inventor with a portfolio of innovation, as well as Director and Principal Investigator of Nanolab. He is frequently recognized for his innovative projects, including 3D printed pills to sample the gut microbiome and Smart Threads.
