Naeem Barlas has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications and power industries. Naeem is currently working as the Head of Operations at Annecto Telecom since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Acmetel, starting as a Network Engineer in August 2011 and progressing to roles such as Assistant Manager Operations, Senior Network Engineer, Manager Operations, and finally Head of Network Operations. In these positions, they demonstrated strong problem-solving skills, supervised teams, and improved operational systems and processes to enhance customer satisfaction. Before joining Acmetel, Naeem worked as a Site Engineer at Pak Elektron Limited, where they managed large-scale projects from layout to execution in the power sector.

Naeem Barlas completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Telecommunications Engineering from COMSATS University Islamabad, from 2005 to 2009. Following that, they pursued an Executive MBA from Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology from 2020 to 2022.

In addition, Naeem Barlas has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. These include "Scrum: The Basics" from LinkedIn in October 2021, "Implementation of ISO Standards ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001" from CONSTECH PAKISTAN in April 2020, "Effective Time Management" from Zeta Technologies (Pvt) Ltd. in November 2019, "Effective Leadership Training" also from Zeta Technologies (Pvt) Ltd. in August 2019, and "Sharpening The Winning Edge" from The Missing P in October 2016. Additionally, they hold the certification of "Professional Electrical Engineer" from the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), although the exact month and year of obtaining this certification are not specified.
