Marise van Son has a robust background in teaching and education, primarily focusing on the German language. Currently serving as a Docent Duits at Anna van Rijn College since August 2017, Marise has also held similar positions at Gerrit Rietveld College and De Nieuwe Veste. In addition to teaching, Marise works as a bijlesdocent and translator at Prinson. Educational contributions include being a student ambassador at Universiteit Utrecht, promoting knowledge of German language and culture, and participating in the InnovatieImpuls Onderwijs project. Marise holds a Bachelor of Arts in German Language and Culture from Utrecht University, along with a minor in secondary education. Further studies include a summer school program in German as a foreign language at Leipzig University.
