As Director of Marketing and Communications, Laura is in constant pursuit of a good story. From strategy and analytics to composition and design, she blends her passion for southeast Michigan with her marketing acumen to promote the area as a leading destination for business and talent. Prior to joining SPARK, Laura worked at Destination Ann Arbor, helping create economic growth through the promotion of Washtenaw County as a destination for day and overnight visitors. Laura spent the early years of her career working in the tech sector, first with multiple Ann Arbor software startups and then the Detroit-based HelloWorld. Additionally, Laura serves as treasurer on the Hero Nation board of directors.
