Albert has over 25 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Albert began their career in 1994 as a Research Scientist at PBH. In 1996, they became the R&D Polymer Manager at Keravision. From 2001 to 2003, Albert held three different positions, including Bioprocess Engineering Manager at BD, Engineering Manager at CardioVasc, and Process Engineering Manager at Beckman Coulter. In 2005, Albert became the Director of Materials Science / Advanced Materials Research at Powervision. Albert then became the Director, Product Development at Arbor Vita Corporation in 2009. In 2011, Albert became the Director of Process Development at Fibrogen. In 2021, they took on the role of Senior Director of Process and Product Development at Revance. Currently, Albert is the Senior Director, CMC at Ankasa Regenerative Therapeutics, Inc., where they are responsible for upstream, downstream, sterile, aseptic processing, and CDMO management.
Albert has a long and varied educational history. Albert obtained a BS in Chemical Engineering from National Taiwan University. Albert then earned an MS in Chemical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology in 1985. Albert went on to pursue a PhD in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, which they completed in 1990. In 2000, they earned a MA in Biological Science from San Jose State University.
