Bishop Koo was appointed the Bishop of Western Sydney in 2019. He had previously served as the Senior Minister of the parish of Carlingford and North Rocks. The child of Malaysian migrants, Mr Koo trained as a medical doctor and worked for six years before becoming a Christian minister. He has a particular interest in serving people from cross-cultural backgrounds. He was appointed to the Board on 23 March 2020.
