James Watkins, PMP, has extensive experience in construction management within the petroleum industry, currently serving as a Construction Manager at Marathon Petroleum Corporation since February 2017. Responsibilities include managing pipeline construction, central tank batteries, and holding facilities while collaborating with engineers and project managers to ensure efficient design, procurement, scheduling, and cost management for customer satisfaction. Prior to this role, James has held various positions including Construction Coordinator at Andeavor, Chief Inspector at STS Consultants and Magnolia River, and Construction Superintendent and PM at Tesla/Arrow Midstream, overseeing quality assurance and compliance with industry regulations. James holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Alabama.
