Jill Homer is an experienced editor and journalist with a robust background in copyediting, graphic design, and layout across various publications. Currently working as a Copyeditor for the Anchorage Daily News since October 2019, Jill manages layout and graphic design for two weekly publications. Freelance editing and journalism work has been conducted since March 2011, complementing roles at Alaska Media LLC from 2013 to 2019 as a Freelance Graphic Designer and Page Designer. Previous experience includes Deputy Editor for Adventure Cycling Association, where Jill planned and edited features, and Deputy Managing Editor at Juneau Empire, overseeing daily production. Early career roles encompassed editorial positions at Homer Tribune, Idaho Falls Post-Register, and Tooele Transcript. Jill holds a Bachelor of Science in News Journalism and English from the University of Utah.
