Sydney Machado Gonsalves is an experienced Environmental Scientist at Anchor QEA since January 2017, with a solid foundation in both environmental science and mechanical engineering. Prior to this role, Sydney served as an Adjunct Instructor, Lab/Field Technician, and Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Portland State University from September 2013 to June 2017. Sydney started a career in engineering as a Mechanical Engineer at Karl Storz Imaging from 2006 to 2013, and gained research experience as a Research Assistant at the Orthopaedic Biomechanics Laboratory at the University of Florida from 2005 to 2006. Sydney holds a Master's degree in Environmental Science & Management and a Graduate Certificate in Hydrology from Portland State University, as well as Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida and UC Santa Barbara, respectively.
