Monica Niehaus is a Senior UX Designer at Ancestry, having been with the company since August 2018, where responsibility includes leading UX for the content experiences space of the Family History product and overseeing the end-to-end design process for Ancestry's record content. Previously, Monica served as Design Editor and Editorial Designer for The Daily UW, focusing on page layouts and visual content for the university publication from October 2015 to June 2018. As a Student Graphic Designer for the University of Washington's Michael G. Foster School of Business from June 2016 to December 2017, design contributions included materials for career workshops and event signage. Monica's design journey began with a UX Design internship at AncestryDNA in the summer of 2017 and culminated in a Bachelor of Design in Interaction Design from the University of Washington, earned in 2018.
