Merv Miles is an accomplished physicist and director with extensive experience in the field of nanophysics and scientific leadership. Currently serving as Director at CLIFTON SCIENTIFIC TRUST LIMITED and Anaphite Ltd since 2018, as well as a Director and Co-Founder at Nu Nano Ltd since 2011, Merv has made significant contributions to the academic community as Chief Scientific Adviser to the Institute of Physics Publishing and Head of the Nanophysics Group at the University of Bristol from 1989 to 2018. Merv also held the position of Director at the Centre of Nanoscience & Quantum Information from 2011 to 2016, overseeing the development of advanced research facilities. Additional experience includes co-founding Infinitesima Ltd and recognition as a Royal Society Woolfson Merit Award holder. Merv's academic foundation includes a BSc, MSc, and PhD in Physics from the University of Birmingham.
