Laurie H. Glimcher

Dr. Glimcher is currently a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. In addition to a number of senior leadership roles held at both Harvard Medical School and Harvard School of Public Health from 1982 to the present, she has also served as the Stephen and Suzanne Weiss Dean and Professor of Medicine of Weill Cornell Medicine and Provost for Medical Affairs of Cornell University. She is a member of the Board of Trustees at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and a member of the US National Academy of Sciences, the National Academy of Medicine, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and the American Philosophical Society. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of GlaxoSmithKline plc. She previously served on the Board of Directors of Bristol-Myers Squibb Pharmaceutical Corporation and Waters Corporation. Dr. Glimcher is a magna cum laude graduate of Radcliffe College and holds an MD degree cum laude from Harvard Medical School.
