Kumar Gala is a distinguished engineer and chief software architect at Analog Devices, with a wealth of experience in software development and engineering across multiple prominent companies. Prior to joining Analog Devices in May 2023, Gala held roles as a Zephyr OS developer at Intel Corporation and as a principal technical lead at Linaro. Additional experience includes positions as a senior staff engineer at Qualcomm and a Linux kernel architect at both Freescale Semiconductor and Texas Instruments. Gala's career began as a software engineer at Freescale, and also includes a role as software director at Bigfoot Networks. Gala earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in December 1999, with notable expertise in Linux kernel development within the open-source community.
