Lauren Runge is an experienced Education Specialist currently serving the Anaheim Elementary School District since June 2017, where responsibilities include working as a Resource Specialist for K-6 students. Previously, Runge worked at Lompoc Unified School District from June 2014 to June 2017 as an Education Specialist in a Special Day Class for grades TK-3. A background in autism research includes a year-long project at California Polytechnic State University, involving 177 hours of fieldwork, observing and implementing treatment methodologies for a four-year-old male with autism, and presenting findings at community events. Early career experience includes a role as a Preschool Teacher for the City of Lakewood, Colorado. Runge holds a Master's Degree in Special Education and Teaching from California Polytechnic State University, obtained in 2014, and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Colorado Denver, earned in 2012.
