Jerrett Harrington is an experienced Technical Director at Anacostia Playhouse, holding the position since November 2022. Previously, Harrington served as a Lighting Technician at the National Black Theatre Festival in August 2024 and worked as a Computer Technician at 99&Up Computers LLC from February 2019 to September 2022. Additional experience includes roles as Teacher Assistant at High Road Upper School of Prince George's County, Lighting Designer at Duke Ellington School of the Arts, and On-Call Barber at Pro Cuts. Harrington's background also includes positions as In-House Lighting Designer at UDC and Sound Technician at THEARC-Building Bridges Across the River. Harrington began the career as Master Electrician at Duke Ellington School of the Arts from 2006 to 2009. Educational qualifications include a High School Diploma in Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technology from Duke Ellington School of the Arts, an A+ certification in Information Technology from the University of the District of Columbia, and a Medical Assistance Certification in Nursing from the same institution.
