Joe Zakrzewski has extensive experience in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry, serving as a board member, chairman, CEO, and investor in multiple companies. Joe has held roles in various companies including Cyteir Therapeutics, AN2 Therapeutics, Amarin Corporation, Acceleron Pharma, Cerecin, Sangamo Therapeutics, OrbiMed Advisors, and Xcellerex. Throughout their career, Joe has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the industry.

Joe Zakrzewski completed their education in a chronological manner. Joe obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University from 1981 to 1986. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Biochemical Engineering from Drexel University from 1986 to 1988. Later, Joe attended Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, where they obtained their MBA degree with a field of study in Finance from 1990 to 1992.
