Lawrence Ha has worked in the IT field since 2002. Lawrence began their career as a System Administrator/Helpdesk at Santa Clara University IT Department. In 2004, they moved to Resolution Health as a Sr. Network Engineer/System Administrator. In 2007, they joined Covad Communications as a System Administrator II. In 2010, they moved to Amyris Inc as a Senior Virtualization Engineer. In 2012, they joined Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Manager, Digital Safe Implementations, Lead System Engineer, and Senior System Engineer. In 2017, they joined Micro Focus as Manager, Digital Safe Implementations and was responsible for a global team of 8 system engineers. In 2018, they rejoined Amyris as a Systems Architect.

Lawrence Ha attended Santa Clara University from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Lawrence then returned to Santa Clara University from 2002 to 2004, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering.
