Hailley Warbington

Senior Associate Scientist, Strain Engineering at Amyris

Hailley Warbington has worked in a variety of roles since 2007. From 2007 to 2011, they were an After School Activities Director at Old Mission Elementary School. From 2011 to 2015, they were a Physical Education Teacher, Substitute Teacher, and After School Activities Director at Contra Costa Jewish Day School. From 2015 to 2016, they were an Environmental Microbiology Lab Research Assistant at California State University, East Bay. From 2016 to the present, they have been employed by Amyris, where they have held four roles, including Senior Associate Scientist, Strain Engineering, Associate Scientist III, Strain Engineering, Associate Scientist II, Strain Engineering, and Associate Scientist I, Strain Engineering. Additionally, in 2016 they were an Osteology Lab Intern at Safari West.

Hailley Warbington began their educational journey at Cuesta College in 2007, where they studied Early Childhood Education. Hailley then transferred to Diablo Valley College in 2012, where they completed their General Education Transfer. Finally, they graduated from California State University - East Bay in 2016 with a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences.
