Shonna Scalfani is an experienced leader in the pharmaceutical industry with a strong background in global CMC strategy, manufacturing, and supply chain management. Currently serving as VP and Head of Global CMC, Tech Services, and External Manufacturing at Amylyx Pharmaceuticals, Shonna reports to the Chief Technical Officer and is responsible for overseeing the product portfolio from early-stage development through lifecycle management. Previously, Shonna held significant roles at Takeda and Shire, where responsibilities included leading global manufacturing teams and achieving successful product launches. Shonna's educational credentials include an MBA and a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from MIT. Notable awards include the Takeda Executive Team Award and the Shire CEO Award.
