Lionel Jones, Jr. has extensive experience in veteran services and human resources, currently serving as the Assistant Regional Director for Region 3 and National Service Officer at AMVETS National Headquarters since May 2015. Prior to this role, Lionel worked as a Veterans Counselor at the Texas Veterans Commission from September 2013 to April 2015. Lionel's career in the Department of the Air Force spanned over two decades, where duties included serving as a Human Resources Officer from 1988 to 2011. Lionel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Southern University at New Orleans.
