Fred Gazzolo has extensive work experience in the cruise industry, with notable positions in companies such as Carnival Cruise Line and Costa Crociere. Federico "Fred" joined Carnival Cruise Line in 2003 and held various roles including VP of Technical Operations, VP of Guest Operations, VP of Guest Logistics and Onboard Guest Services, Vice President of Strategic Development, Director of Operations Performance Analysis, Director of Guest Experience and Business Development, and Ship Manager. During their time at Carnival Cruise Line, Gazzolo led initiatives related to technical infrastructure, customer experience, P&L leadership, and strategic development. Prior to joining Carnival Cruise Line, Gazzolo worked at Costa Crociere as a Technical Ship Superintendent, and at Prestige Cruise Management as an Asst. Technical Ship Superintendent. Federico "Fred" also has experience as a Structural Design Engineer at Interprogetti Genova. Currently, Gazzolo is working at Amtrak as the VP of Product Development and Customer Analytics.
Fred Gazzolo has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, which they obtained from 2007 to 2008. Federico "Fred" also holds a Master of Science (MS) in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Università degli Studi di Genova, which they completed from 1993 to 1999.
