Scott Pinar is an experienced engineering manager with a focus on digital factory engineering and automation solutions. Currently at Amsted Rail since June 2015, Scott has held several managerial roles, overseeing teams that design and implement advanced automated solutions for manufacturing processes across six continents. Prior to Amsted Rail, Scott worked at Kawasaki Robotics USA, where responsibilities included senior project management and leading engineering for paint shop automation in the automotive sector. Scott's career began at FANUC Robotics, where roles included paint process engineer and installation engineer, focusing on automated painting systems. Scott holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Lake Superior State University and an Associate's Degree in the same field from Bay de Noc Community College.
