Vivekananda Prabhu currently serves as Senior Director of Quality at ams OSRAM, overseeing global quality for back end operations since June 2020. In addition, Vivekananda holds the position of Director of Supplier Excellence at ams AG, leading Supplier Quality Engineering efforts worldwide since October 2019. Previously, between January 2014 and October 2019, Vivekananda was the Director and Head of Global Supplier Quality Management at Lumileds, focusing on LED manufacturing. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Philips Television and TP Vision, where Vivekananda managed global supplier quality and quality account operations from 2006 to 2013. Earlier career positions at Philips Electronics Singapore from 1990 to 2005 involved leading quality functions in the Domestic Appliances Division and serving as Chief Engineer for design quality. Educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Malnad College of Engineering and pre-university studies at Shree Bhuvanendra College.
